About the Mantra:
“There is a long history of scholars attempting to deny the phrase Ayka Maee as meaning “One Divine Mother” and instead translating it to the word maya, which means illusion. This is believed to be due to the patriarchal bent of various scholars over the years. When I sat down to record this mantra a brand new english verse came through. Instead of my previously created lyrical translation of the mantra the speaker voice changed and suddenly the Divine Mother herself was speaking. This is her message to us all, her beautiful children.

aykaa maa-ee jugat vi-aa-ee tin chaylay parvaan.
ik sansaaree ik bhandaaree ik laa-ay deebaan.
jiv tis bhaavai tivai chalaavai jiv hovai furmaan.
oh vaykhai onaa nadar na aavai bahutaa ayhu vidaan.
aadays tisai aadays.

translation:
The One Divine Mother, the visible world, gave birth alone to three deities
One, the Creator of the World; One, the Sustainer; and One, the Destroyer
Everything goes as That One decrees, and all are under divine Command
The Creatress watches over all, and, marvel of marvels, remains invisible to all. How wonderful this is!
I bow to Her, I humbly bow
The Primal One, the Pure Light, without beginning, without end. Throughout all the ages, She is One and the Same
